Video Transcription
So, again, I showed you some of the typical lesions. I think it's always important to consider that there are atypical presentations, so I always consult with a neuroradiologist and neurosurgeon. But at the same time, I was – I hope I have convinced you that being the clinician, seeing these patients, you're in a position where you can actually integrate both clinical endocrine and imaging data, so this is a clear advantage compared to a radiologist who hasn't seen the patient, so I think there's no substitute, really, for reviewing your own images when seeing these patients. So, again, to summarize, pituitary protocol MRI should always be requested if you're interested in imaging the cell as opposed to a general brain MRI. Talked about the wide variety of differential diagnosis in addition to pituitary adenomas, and then how the radiographic features can help you arrive in presumptive diagnosis preoperatively.
