This session will provide practical guidance on the clinical use of long-acting growth hormone (LAGH) therapies for the treatment of pediatric and adult growth hormone disease (GHD).

This program is supported by educational grants from Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, and Ascendis Pharma.

The intended audience for this Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU) 2026 live virtual Ancillary Symposium is endocrinologists, physician associates, nurse practitioners, and allied healthcare professionals who treat patients with growth hormone deficiencies.
  1. Discuss the benefits of growth hormone replacement therapy in both children and adults with GHD
  2. Implement shared-decision making to choose between daily and long-acting GH therapies for children and adults with GHD
  3. Differentiate between LAGH therapies approved for pediatric and/or adult GHD in terms of efficacy, safety, administration, dosing and monitoring requirements
  4. Apply best practice to initiate LAGH therapies in appropriate adults and children with GHD, and monitor IGF-1 levels to inform dose adjustments
