Leading experts will provide insight and tools for endocrinology specialists to address the treatment challenges in growth hormone deficiency. Learners will strengthen their knowledge and competency with the diagnosis and management of GHD, including incorporating long-acting growth hormone therapy into the care of adult and pediatric patients. Learners will also be equipped with practical strategies to help patients enhance their adherence to GH therapy, especially for young adults as they transition to adult care.

This program is intended for adult and pediatric endocrinology specialists (MDs, NPs, PAs), primary care/family medicine providers (MDs, NPs, PAs), scientists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) who manage adult and pediatric patients with growth hormone deficiency (GHD)

  • Apply the appropriate diagnostic tests to a patient with a high suspicion of GHD
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of long-acting growth hormone therapies in pediatric and adult patients with GHD
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with GHD, including agent selection, dosing, and monitoring
  • Implement strategies to improve treatment adherence and transitions of care for patients with GHD

The Endocrine Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Endocrine Society has achieved Accreditation with Commendation.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Endocrine Society and Clinical Care Options (CCO). The Endocrine Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit

The Endocrine Society designates each activity in this course for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. While offering CME credits noted above, this program is not intended to provide extensive training or certification in the field.

Please note that while other accrediting bodies accept AMA PRA Category 1 credit, we can only award and report this credit for MDs/DOs. For those outside of this accreditation, please complete the participation evaluation and use that certificate as proof of attendance to submit to your accrediting body.


Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Successful completion of each CME activity in this course, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.50 points in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

In support of improving patient care, Clinical Care Options, LLC (CCO) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

ANCC Credit
The maximum number of hours awarded for this Nursing Continuing Professional Development activity is 1.5 contact hours.

AAPA Credit

Clinical Care Options, LLC. has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until July 31, 2024. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
