Endocrine Procedures: CGM
Course Description
This Endocrine Procedures module is designed to improve fellows’ competence in using CGM and diabetes technology to manage diabetes. This tool was developed to provide fellows the opportunity to learn more about using and interpreting CGM reports, and offer the chance to demonstrate competence in the interpretation of CGMs. During this course you will review the requirements for CGM, videos explaining how to use diabetes technology and interpret CGM, and then several activities and case-based questions to put your knowledge into practice.  
Learning Objectives

During this activity, fellows will review CGM reports and consider treatment recommendations. Upon completing this education activity, learners will be able to: 

  • Appraise the role of continuous glucose monitoring in the management of diabetes 

  • Develop a framework for interpretation of ambulatory glucose profiles (AGP) 

  • Apply the learning from module in reviewing AGP reports and providing treatment recommendations when going through cases to improve competence.
