ESAP-ITE 2017

ESAP-ITE 2017
Developing the Future of Endocrinology
The ESAP In-Training Exam (ITE) is a self-assessment tool designed for clinical endocrinology fellows in-training. The only in-training exam for endocrinology fellows, ESAP-ITE is designed to:
- Provide endocrine fellows an opportunity for self-assessment throughout training
- Identify areas where endocrine fellows need extra assistance
- Provide program directors the opportunity to evaluate their programs annually
Developed by a panel of expert endocrinologists, ESAP-ITE consists of 90 clinical case vignettes written at the level of proficiency expected from in-training clinical endocrinology fellows. ESAP-ITE covers the all topical areas within clinical endocrinology and is based on the blueprint for the American Board of Internal Medicine’s certification examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Measurements are also available in SI units to make the exam more accessible for international training programs.
The exam is available for proctoring between mid-January and mid-February. Make certain your fellows and your program are on track by enrolling them today!
Program Directors or Coordinators – visit ITE Administrator FAQs to learn more about enrolling your fellows, proctoring the exam, and accessing your program’s reports.
