Endocrine Treatment of Gender Dysphoria/Gender Incongruence CPG Fellows Series

Designed for in-training clinical fellows to learn about and apply Endocrine Society’s Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs), this activity explores the Treatment of Gender Dysphoria/Gender Incongruence  guideline. By participating in this activity, fellows will be able to:

  • Assess knowledge of treatment of gender dysphoria/gender incongruence since publication of the previous Endocrine Society guideline
  • Review the Endocrine Society task force recommendations
  • Define significant changes in best practices that are being recommended in the 2017 Gender Dysphoria/Gender Incongruence guideline due to changes in science.
  • Identify gaps in the existing evidence base for Gender Dysphoria /Gender Incongruence which contribute to controversy or disagreement among clinicians about standards for optimal patient care.

Content covered by the CPG and this activity includes the management and treatment of transgender children and adolescents, surgery, and on-going treatment of transgender patients. 

Endocrine Treatment of Gender Dysphoria/Gender Incongruence CPG Fellows Series is available to fellowship training programs subscribed to the Fellows Training Series.
