Endocrine Procedures: Interpretation and Management of CGM and Insulin Pumps

Endocrine Procedures: Interpretation and Management of CGM and Insulin Pumps
Endocrine Procedures is designed to aid program directors in helping assess fellows competence in endocrine procedures as a part of the new ABIM initial certification process. In collaboration with APDEM, the Endocrine Society has developed this tool to provide fellows the opportunity to practice and demonstrate competence in the interpretation of continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps.
This tool includes a brief orientation to the reporting requirements of CGM data analysis based on APDEM’s Curriculum, followed by a series of case-based data reports from which fellows will write reports and treatment recommendations. After the program director and fellow review and discuss their progress, the fellow will receive useful resources from the Endocrine Society and other organizations to further their learning in diabetes technologies.
