Plugging In To Improved Patient Care with Diabetes Technology
Course Description
Expert faculty will discuss:
  • Current guidelines, consensus statements, and playbooks on time in range
  • Strategies for the optimal use of CGM technology in the clinical setting
  • Expanding the use of diabetes technology in the COVID-19 era

This course was a virtual live CME-certified Ancillary Symposium presented at ENDO 2021. This educational activity is supported by an independent medical educational grant from Abbott Diabetes Care Inc.

This ancillary symposium is developed through the Endocrine Society’s Special Programs Committee (SPC).

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion these educational sessions, participants should be better able to:

  1. Explain and interpret current guidelines, consensus statements, and playbooks on time in range
  2. Discuss and evaluate strategies for the optimal use of diabetes technology in practice
  3. Outline guidelines for use of CGM for COVID patients

While offering CME credits noted above, this program is not intended to provide extensive training or certification in the field.

Please note that while other accrediting bodies accept AMA PRA Category 1 credit, we can only award and report this credit for MDs/DOs. For those outside of this accreditation, please complete the participation evaluation and use that certificate as proof of attendance to submit to your accrediting body.
