Through multiple educational approaches to engage learners in interactive discussion, this program will focus on evidence-based methods for addressing obesity and managing its comorbidities in a compassionate manner. This program will be case based and will walk through the lifecycle of a patient with obesity. Faculty will present didactic presentations as well as interact with a standardized patient to emulate interactions one might encounter in a clinic. This symposium is certified for 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and 1.5 ABIM MOC points.
